About Slot Car Magic

"American Graffiti" night opened with cold floats and a red hot drag strip at Slot Car magic on Parrott Street.
Phil, our drag racing, car crazy proprietor of Slot Car magic was wearing his David Puddy "8 ball" jacket looking ready for any and all action. Mary was heard saying "Check this out. 8 ball. You got a question, you ask the 8 ball."

Kevin's hemi powered Cuda was by far the fastest car on the strip blowing away the competition. Edwin's GTO was set up for the drag as well - "I put a lotta work into that rod" he said. I think I noticed the paint job was hand-rubbed. On the main raceway we saw everything from Luis' Turbine powered chevy, to Mary's 32 Ford. Keith of Keith Motors brought out his GTO, and scratch built Roadster both of which looked awesome. Fantastic paint jobs, great attention to detail on both cars.

Sven stopped by late and spent the remainder of the night looking around in other people's cars obsessing about a mysterious blonde driving a white Ford Thunderbird.

"And baby, keep your tail-lights blinkin', and rev your engine every chance you get, 'cause da Wolfman is always here to fill your tank and make your hood feel goooooooood. Awwwww-wowowowooooooooooooooooooooo!"
