Race Results - IRL Race December 8th 2007 Slot Car Magic Raceway
Eleven brave souls tempted fate as they climbed into there cockpit on December 8Th at Slot Car Magic Racepark. Up for grab was the IRL Race Championship. Two round robins were run with each driver feeling victory within there grasp.
After the first round robin it became clear that some drivers were there for show, and other drivers were there to win. One of the drivers that showed up to win was rookie driver Tony, he proved to be a handful for the other drivers to deal with.
At the start of the second round robin it looked like Lenard would make it to the finals as the driver to beat. But as he started his final heat the racing gods decided it was not to be his night, as his engine just stopped running. The Stig was another racer who ended up with a DNF as his car could not continue after numerous wrecks. After all was said and done the final four featured Randy, Jack, Kim and the rookie Tony.
In the finals Randy's car was to much to handle as he ran away with title. Jack finished in second two laps ahead of Kim. The rookie Tony came in fourth place. After the race Tony was overheard saying that he will be back and next time fourth place is not an option.
